TAMUGC Pro-Bono Consulting is a unique opportunity for graduate students to step into the shoes of management consultants in a real, high-stakes project. You will work in a team advising a real organization (e.g., tech startup, small business, city government) on issues that are important to this organization. This experience will likely make you a more competitive candidate when applying to paid, full-time opportunities in the future.

A minimalistic luxury cabin development company focused on eco-conscious hospitality. This project helped refine customer segmentation, guest journey strategy, membership model opportunities, and brand positioning to support stronger market growth.

An automated food service system with a kiosk interface designed for quick-service restaurants. This project evaluated commercialization options, market opportunities, competitors, and financial strategy to strengthen investor readiness.

FUNDRAISING STRATEGY & CUSTOMER ACQUISITION PLANNING

Project Details
  • Four different projects with local tech startups

  • Each team will be composed of 4-6 pro-bono consultants

  • Consultants will, at most, be staffed in one project

  • Consultants should expect to devote 5-10 hours a week to their project

  • Consultants will have direct face time with startup executive team and industry mentors

  • Consulting work will involve growth strategy, pricing strategy, and market research

  • Tentative start date: late September

  • Tentative conclusion date: mid-December
